MINBUNREN was founded in 1969, which the goal is to pass down the Japanese native artistic skill. The program is performed to incorporate dance, playing and ballad in order to fully represent the essence of the culture of Yamato traditional dance accompanied by music. MINBUNREN has been invited to performance both in domestic and abroad for thousands of times. The feature of the performances is to integrate folk rhymes, shakuhachi, and shamisen accompanied with abundant body language to represented Japanese custom, music and dance.

The famous MINBUNREN (Bamboo dancing league) which the goal is to pass down the Japanese native art. Their program is performed to incorporate dance, playing and ballad in order to fully represent the essence of the culture of Yamato traditional dance accompanied by music. They are endeared by music fans. Except for introducing a variety of folk art, bamboo dancing league cooperate with many celebrated ballad singer through such TV programs as NHK, etc. Their performance is widely received the favorable comment.
They have been invited to Taiwan to make a performance tour for 2 times; its abundant and various dance style is widely reported by the local media in place of their arrival. At the invitation of the Hong Kong Tourism Bureau in 2003, on behalf of Japan to participate in “New Year Festival in Hong Kong ”, they received the supreme appraisal among 12 groups coming from all over the world by local media. Their performance in Japan is always overfilled. A lot of spectators admired that you could only see such high-level performance in MINBUNREN after viewing.
